70 Silk Scarf Ballet Stars Powder pink pointe shoes, loosened ribbons, spin in a circle at the center of a pale pink square, surrounded by small stars and bows. A border of ribbons and pleated tulle completes an Opera box design. The 70 x 70 is the neck size: folded into a triangle, it ties in front or to the side without hanging too low, and folded as a headband it makes two turns. It can also be worn on the head, tied under the chin or at the nape of the neck, and as a thin belt over a dress. The Wearing Experience The pink on pink is a tone-on-tone: the scarf softens the complexion and is worn like a ballerina's collar. The shoes in a circle remain readable on the back, in triangle form, like a medallion. Folded in a triangle and tied in front, the point falls to the middle of the chest: this is the right proportion for a coat collar or blazer.
